Meat products are sourced from within Scotland, either direct from identified farms, certificated livestock auctioneers or nominated QMS suppliers.

Utilising unique Scottish breeds such as Angus and Highland cattle, where taste and quality simply cannot be matched our meat is prepared to exacting standards ensuring continued customer satisfaction. The quality of this meat is second to none and credit is due to our farmers for taking such a pride in what they produce.

A full range of poultry products are also available, each sourced from local producers ensuring quality and freshness. With an abundance of wild game in our neighbouring glens we can provide some of the finest natural produce imaginable.

Commitment to customer service is key to our operation and this is achieved through the combination of many diligent initiatives, including:

  • Quality control systems, process flow controls and operational audits
  • Comprehensive and ongoing staff training
  • Continuous investment in premises, plant and new technology

 

Looking Forward…

Quality and hygiene were the two foremost considerations around which our cutting plant was designed.

A one way product flow system which is easy to maintain, manage and control, has enabled the creation of a traceability system with complete temperature control throughout.

Our key objective was to preserve the quality and skills of the traditional butcher within a modern factory setting.

Our bakery has been designed for the production of cooked meats, steak pies and traditional bakery products.

Working within stringent hygiene procedures and to time tested recipes, we ensure that our produce is both unique and Scottish.
